Ham Radio

For the past month, my dad and I have been studying and doing Practice tests for the Technician Class Ham Radio License

Today (August 7th 2025) I took the ACTUAL test and…

The Results are in…

I PASSED!!!

with a 29/35 (26 is the minimum passing grade)

I PASSED!!! The three guys on the right (excluding me at the tippy top) are Mac (top), Jack (middle) and Mike (bottom), they are all part of the WM7X test team and were my test examiners! Shoutout to them!

During the test my hands were SHAKING (cuz I was nervous)

After the test, my whole BODY was shaking (cuz I had passed).

Though it is not visible here, I was practically JUMPING because all my work paid off

Immediately (or almost immediately) after the test, I received an email containing the document you see below

My CSCE (Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination) with (probably) THE MOST chicken scratch signing I have done

So now all I am waiting for is an email from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to pay the fee. Once they’re paid they will process my papers and by the next morning I will be active and on the FCC ULS database. Updates to be posted.

My dad keeps calling the (upcoming) FCC email:

“The email with the dollar sign on it”

Also shoutout to my dad who not only helped with the material but also with the times where I was on the verge of giving up!
