For about a month now, I have been studying for the General class radio license.
Well, recently I took my test and…
I PASSED!!
with a score of 30 out of 35 questions!!
I was SUPER excited about passing because when I went in I was half excited and half nervous (even though I had been in the same testing environment 1 year ago) and they had me sign my name (which was very hard to do) for my CSCE (see Figure 1.1 below) which stands for

I was very excited and I got on the radio as soon as we got home from the beach (for context, we were at the beach house) and I made 1 contact that day with SP7Y, in Poland (see Figure 1.2 for map)
The second day, I made a contact with DL9SCO, in Germany (see Figure 1.3 for map)
Anyway, Lots of fun and I am VERY excited to do some more work on HF (20 meters if its daytime and 40 meters – which I call “the pirate band” because there are a few pirates on there – if its night)
I have to go and do stuff and like go and do like things…

Congratulations on getting your general license, and also on growing two inches (from minus one to plus one) so you could drive your own go-kart. I am so impressed with your contacts in Poland and Germany. Imagine being able to make radio contact with people across the Atlantic Ocean. They were probably also excited to talk to you.
