Flight # To Seattle:AS349.
Flight # To BWI:AS378
So recently, I went to Seattle, Washington with my Mom and my brother. We flew on Alaska Airlines both ways. This is a recap for you all.
On the first day once we arrived, We went to the Pike Place Market. We ate food at the Sound View Cafe. We also went to The Seattle Tall Ship. I got to be a part of the “Cool Kids Club” (the people called the group me and some other guys the “pirates”) despite the name, I was very helpful to the ship.
On the first full day, I got sick. So I went to the doctor. After the doctor, we went to the Chihuly Garden and Glass (cheh-who-lee). I got a notebook there. We also went to the Seattle Center Armory Food And Event Hall (or just the Seattle Center Armory).
On the second day, We saw our extended family and had lunch at The Old Spagatti Factory in Tacoma. We also went to the Defiance Point Zoo and Aquarium. We went to The Crab Pot for dinner, I had mac and cheese and it wasn’t Kraft mac and cheese, it was homemade. Then we went on The Great Seattle Ferris Wheel. I (maybe) made a world record: the having-a-lemon-in-my-mouth-and-not-making-a-sour-face world record to be exact. 30 minutes with a lemon in my mouth. It wasn’t my fault I quit. My mom was worried I would be sick again if I had it in for too long. We also saw the Space Needle. I got to look down at the city.
On the third day, we went home. We went from Seattle-BWI which I basically skipped lunch because in Seattle it was 9:00 AM and in Baltimore it was 5:00 or 6:00, so I didn’t have a lunch. I got Chick-fil-A with my dad after he picked us up from the airport. The time change was hard.
We had an awesome time. I got the Kids Box both times on the plane. It was Disney-themed.
In conclusion, I had a lot of fun in Seattle and I (maybe) was crying on the last day since I didn’t want to leave.
Isaac, your post about Seattle is very well-done. You are a good writer. I had to chuckle in a few places, as your sense of humor comes through. Too bad you might not have quite broken the lemon-sucking without-a-face record. 😊
